Facilities Maintenance Tradesperson 18 month fixed term
  • Fulltime– Fixed Term – 18 months – RDO fortnightly
  • Band 3 salary range $65,046 to $69,170 pa inclusive of allowances plus statutory superannuation

This position plays a key role in contributing to the success of the works group as an internal service provider for the City of Ballarat. The incumbent will provide the expertise to successfully undertake a wide range of maintenance activities, with a key focus on graffiti removal and provide the flexibility to support programmed works within other areas of Infrastructure & Environment.

About You

  • Proven ability to provide high quality graffiti treatment/removal work, or painting works.
  • Proven ability to provide high quality general maintenance works.
  • A demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the safe handling of chemicals for the purpose of graffiti treatment/removal.
  • A demonstrated customer service focus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area.
  • A Victorian Driver’s License.
