Following an extensive review and community engagement, City of Ballarat has developed a complimentary suite of programs and activities as an alternative to the funded Aged Care Service, to support the ageing community. We are looking to find the right people for new and exciting senior team positions. The new team direction is primarily a community development model to assist Ballarat to continue its development as an Age-Friendly community. Your new role The Team Leader role is integral in influencing organisational policies, strategies and initiatives that create an inclusive and socially connected community for residents as they age and will be responsible for the creation and implementation of programs that address social isolation and assist residents to access appropriate services and supports. This role requires management of a team who undertake diverse roles and is responsible for clearly articulating the needs of the community through evidence-based research, data collection and authentic collaboration to ensure Council is strategically planning for the health and wellbeing of the ageing community, now and into the future. This is a full-time permanent role with monthly RDO based at the Phoenix Building with access to flexible hybrid work options. This is a Band 7 classified role salary range between $92,012 - $101,890 per annum plus 10.5% super.
