An exciting opportunity currently exists to provide a high quality educational program with a team of passionate early childhood educators at the City of Ballarat 75 place Wendouree Children’s Centre.
In this role, you will lead our funded 3-year-old kindergarten program, which operates three days per week, and backfill for our experienced 4-year-old kindergarten teacher one day per week. Each teaching day will comprise of 5 contact hours and 2.5 non-contact hours with school holidays off.
The Teacher will work closely with the Coordinator, Educational Leader and Team Leader to ensure the delivery of high-quality education and care that responds to the diverse needs of families and promotes best practice in early childhood education and care with the team.
The successful candidate will be a motivated, team player committed to delivering high quality early childhood education and care. A solid understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the National Quality Framework is required along with ability to support a holistic and flexible approach to the care, education and development of children.

You will have a natural ability to motivate and lead staff to achieve desired outcomes within parameters of the service, lead by your confidence in leadership and dedication to best practice.
The successful applicant will hold a Bachelor of Education or equivalent in accordance with the National Quality Framework and the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
