Benchmarking Analyst - People and Culture
  • Two-year fixed term, full-time opportunity with a monthly RDO
  • Band 6 Salary range from $88,829 to $98,566 per annum plus super (negotiable based on experience)

Role Overview 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join the Remuneration & Benefits team as a Benchmarking Analyst - People and Culture for a two-year fixed term period.  

This role will conduct analysis to obtain better insight into Victorian Local Government employment conditions in relation to organisational structures and resources, position classifications and remuneration details.  The analysis will include qualitative and quantitative statistical data gathering and analysis, projections and forecasts using descriptive and statistical methodologies, to benchmark, compare, identify gaps, limitations, trends, developments and implications.   

About You 

The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of data analysis methodologies, organisational design, workforce planning and remuneration principles together with a well-developed communication stye to effectively engage, coach and influence stakeholders.

  • Qualifications and experience as listed in the position description.  
  • Demonstrated ability to champion, model and promote the City of Ballarat Core Values.  
  • Experience in a similar role with strong understanding of contemporary recruitment practices, sourcing strategies and workforce planning.  
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and business associates.  
  • Well-developed written communications, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to produce reports, policy development and associated documentation.
